Setting the Standard for Private Healthcare and Occupational Health
Your Health Screening
Pinehill Hospital and Hessington Health have joined forces to provide fast access to a comprehensive package of services. Whether your Company has suggested this health check for you, or you have made this decision yourself, you can be assured that you have come to the right place for a comprehensive review of your health and wellbeing. We can help you every step of the way from meeting a qualified GP to seeing a Consultant Specialist and onward treatment. The Health Screening will be overseen by, a fully qualified General Practitioner who will produce a report. You will receive that report in a timely manner from your Doctor. If your Doctor recommends that you need to see a Consultant, you then have the choice to see a consultant privately. You can choose to either pay for your own treatment or use private medical insurance.
Hessington Health was established with the principle aim of providing patients with access to all forms of private medical services promptly and at the highest standard. The service spans from initial health screening to onward referral to the right specialist, quickly and efficiently. Hessington Health has over 15 years experience and operate from several insurance approved private hospitals across the country. Services are delivered by highly qualified Doctors. For corporate clients, a comprehensive range of occupational health services delivered by highly experienced Occupational Health Consultants is available. These services are bespoke to each organisation and can be tailored for the individual business needs.
Following Your Health Screening – Once You Receive Your Report
Your Doctor will write a letter of referral to a consultant. Once this has been done, either you or your Doctor can contact us to arrange the first out-patient appointment.
You will be given the option for Pinehill Consultants to deliver your care - this is a key element of Private Healthcare. Pinehill Hospital is proud to work in partnership with some of the most well qualified and experienced consultants available in their specialist field. All our consultants work or have worked in NHS positions and have extensive specialist experience and qualifications in their chosen field. All our consultants are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and are formally registered with the GMC on the “Specialist Register” related to the specialist area they work in. Our consultant’s qualifications can be easily verified by referring directly to www.gmc-uk.org. For more information and to view any of our consultant’s profiles please visit our website.
Employer Funded Benefit Scheme
If your Employer is invested in the health and wellbeing of their employees, we offer a variety of Health Screening packages which would come under the Employer Benefit Scheme.
Paying for your own treatment
If you are paying for your own treatment, just call our friendly enquiry team to see how we can help on 01462 427 227. Pinehill has a fixed cost care scheme. This means that you will be quoted an ‘all inclusive’ fixed price for your treatment which means you know the full cost of your treatment beforehand.
Using your Medical insurance
If you have a private medical insurance policy, please check with your insurance company prior to attending to ensure the policy covers you for the condition in question, and to gain an authorisation code. The level of cover varies between different insurers and this should be checked directly. Insurance companies may also require a copy of the referral letter.
