Dr Chapman is the lead consultant for lung cancer at the Luton and Dunstable University hospital. He has a special interest in asthma, allergy (including hayfever) and airways disease, but also treats all aspects of respiratory medicine including; cough, interstitial lung disease, sleep apnoea, respiratory infection, bronchiectasis, pulmonary vascular disease and COPD.

Dr Tim Chapman is a private respiratory consultant at Pinehill Hospital. He will assess and investigate all problems urgently and thoroughly, with access to a complete range of investigations, including lung function testing, sleep studies, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and CT imaging. He is the lead consultant for lung cancer at the Luton & Dunstable University hospital where he is involved in many aspects of service improvement, training and development.   Dr Chapman was trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. He completed specialist training at internationally renowned centres of excellence in London; St George’s hospital, The Royal Marsden hospital and The Royal Brompton hospital.   Dr Chapman was awarded a prized 'Darzi Fellowship' in thoracic oncology and medical leadership at the Royal Marsden hospital. This included managerial training from the University of Leeds. Dr Chapman holds a Masters degree with distinction (MSc) in Allergy from Imperial College, London, undertaken whilst at The Royal Brompton hospital, specialising in chronic cough, asthma and allergy.   Dr Chapman has research published in international journals and presented his work at national and international conferences. He is part of the education faculty at Luton and Dunstable University hospital, teaching undergraduate students and postgraduate doctors in medicine.   Dr Chapman's private life mainly revolves around his young family but does occasionally get to satisfy his keen interest in winter sports.
