Hyder Ridha read medicine at the Royal Free and University College Medical School and graduated with distinction (MB BS). He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Developmental Biology (First class Honours).
Hyder completed his specialist training in Plastic Surgery in the East of England deanery. He acquired his fellowship in Plastic Surgery, FRCS (Plast), at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.
He subsequently completed a Microsurgery fellowship at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the McIndoe Surgical Centre, a specialist cosmetic surgery centre.In addition to his clinical practice, Hyder has extensive research experience. He has published in leading plastic surgery journals and presented at major international conferences. His research interests include microsurgery, antioxidants and anti-ageing. He teaches higher surgical trainees in speciality training and is also a faculty member on microsurgical and FRCS (Plast) revision courses.
