Donations for the Ukraine Appeal have been over whelming at Fitzwilliam Hospital & Boston West Hospital, including one member of staff who spent over £80 in their weekly shop. Weekly collections are going through a local Ukrainian restaurant, who started a campaign to collect supplies to send a van daily to Ukraine. Over £4,000 has been raised by the restaurant to support the 1309 mile supply drop.
The hospitals will continue to donate during the crisis.
